The 20th annual meeting of the ENFSI expert working group Firearms/GSR (Gunshot residues) takes place in Riga, Latvia on 10-13 September.QuoData being a longtime partner of the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) will provide the latest results of the GSR proficiency test. Furthermore, the collaborative study on the Forensic Determination of Shooting Distances funded by the EU and performed in 2012, was analyzed by QuoData with assistance of BKA experts. The results are presented now at the meeting.
In the upcoming month, QuoData will be represented at two events with its main focus on proficiency tests.

13 March | QuoData at InterLabTec 2013 in Munich
QuoData will present itself on 13-15 March 2013 at the InterLabTec in Munich.
The InterLabTec is an international trade fair for quality management, analytics and sustainability in laboratories and production of the food industry. The general program offers a large number of lectures and workshops that revolve around the themes analytics, quality and efficiency in the food sector.
21 January | QuoData signed framework agreement with the OECD
Based on the internationally acknowledged expertise of QuoData in the area of strategic quality assurance, especially in optimization and validation of methods, QuoData was chosen by the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) to assist with the OECD Test Guidelines.

QuoData sponsers the 15th CineLatino, a Latin-American Movie Week, which takes place from 29.11. - 5.12.2012 in the film theater Schauburg in Dresden.
The program includes Latinamerican cinema, dancing performances, musical contributions and a Latino-Party.
19 November | QuoData presents tumor marker research center at 2nd Munich Biomarker Conference
From 22. - 23. November the 2nd Munich Biomarker Conference takes place in Munich.
At the conference, the most recent state in the field of biomarker research is presented. In addition, various aspects of personalized medicine are dicussed in panel discussions and workshops.

A new version of InterVAL, InterVAL Plus and OptiVAL, QuoData's software solutions for in-house validation and optimization, is available.
12 November | QuoData with contribution at the Langenauer Wasserforum
QuoData will be on location at the Langenauer Wasserforum, which takes place from 12 - 13 November in Langenau, Germany, with its own contribution.
The forum offers an opportunity to discuss about the latest developments in the area of water and environmental analysis. Furthermore there is an exhibition of equipment and posters.

19 October | QuoData participating at international conference on reference materials
From 27 - 28 November, the 2nd international conference "Mineral Resources - Reference Material" will take place in Ulan Bator.
On this occasion, QuoData will give a presentation: "Software for the conduct of interlaboratory tests for CRM: statistical assessment and uncertainty quantification".
12 October | GSR 2012 PT completed
A total of 60 forensic laboratories participated in this year’s international proficiency test for the identification of gunshot residue (GSR) particles with SEM/EDX, of which 44 from EU countries and 7 from the USA.

11 October | Workshop on interlaboratory studies at US FDA
The FDA workshop at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago took place on 21-22 August 2012. The event was co-organized by QuoData, and the main speaker was QuoData’s managing director and chief scientist: Steffen Uhlig.

Our annual PROLab workshop is taking place in September. Users and anyone else who is interested will have the opportunity to get to know our software for the evaluation of interlaboratory studies.
