The analysis of various hormonal effects is possible in the non-accredited area. As an alternative method to A-YES, the YES test method based on the recombinant yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae can be used to determine the estrogenic effect.

The determination of the androgenic, gestagenic, glucocorticoid and mineralcorticoid effects as well as the estrogenic effect caused by bisphenol A and the effect caused by the Ah receptor are carried out using standardized methods based on the yeast cell system Arxula adeninivorans.

Research laboratory for effect-related analysis:

In addition to the tasks as an accredited test laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, QuoData GmbH develops and optimizes effect-related processes together with its partner new_diagnostics GmbH for customer-specific questions:

  • Testing and modification of existing methods, e.g. for new sample types and matrices
  • Combination of the effect-related yeast cell assays with analytical separation methods
  • Improvement of the performance parameters of biosensors used for specific applications
  • Probation and integration of sample pre-treatment methods into the measurement process
  • Application of individual validation concepts such as in-house validation, ICEs (Interlaboratory Comparison Exercise) or method validation ring tests to confirm the suitability of the method for the intended purpose.
