Launch of the New Round of the Interlaboratory Trial “Hormonal Effects 2026”
After three successful rounds with a continuously growing number of participants, QuoData is pleased to announce the next round of the interlaboratory trial “Hormonal Effects 2026,” dedicated to in vitro bioassays for the effect-based determination of hormonal activity in water and food samples. This external quality assessment (EQA) will take place in autumn 2026 and is organized by QuoData GmbH in cooperation with QD Labs.
The interlaboratory trial provides participating laboratories with the following opportunities:
- Method verification: Evaluation of effect-based bioassays under interlaboratory conditions
- Quality assurance: Support of accreditation through external performance assessment
- Benchmarking: Comparison of laboratory performance within an international participant group
- Scientific contribution: Contribution to the further establishment of effect-based methods
- Transparency: Demonstration of reliable and traceable analytical results
QuoData especially welcomes participation from laboratories using yeast planar assays, as this inclusion will broaden the data basis and increase the statistical and scientific value of the evaluation.
With the “Hormonal Effects 2026” trial, QuoData continues its efforts to strengthen quality assurance and advance the development and acceptance of effect-based analytical approaches.
